Students and families,

We are closing out February and headed into March.  March 6^th and 7^th are Parent-Teacher Conferences. Classroom teachers will be sending a link to you so you can sign up for the day/time you prefer.  It is very important to attend conferences and hear about the progress your child is making.

 Smarter Balanced Assessments will begin on March 6^th for 4^th grade students.  3^rd and 5^th graders are starting on April 17^th and 6^th grade will begin on April 24^th.  Your child’s teacher will send home more information about specific times of day they will be testing. We hope you can schedule appointments around this important testing time.

The Inclusive Playground Committee has raised $85,300.00 to date.  We are very excited about this project and will continue to work hard to raise more money to reach our goal of $400,000. 

Class and Individual Pictures are scheduled for Thursday, March 23^rd.  Friday, March 24^th is the end of the quarter, so students will not be at school that day. 

PTA is sponsoring a Bingo Night on Friday, March 31^st from 6:00-8:00. We will need donations for prizes and cakes/cupcakes for the cake walk. It has been a long time since we have had Bingo Night at Sacajawea. We hope you can all come and enjoy the fun!
