    How to file: School District Trustee Filing Timeline

    There are currently one, three-year term and one two-year term on the District School Board that are expiring. Any individuals who are interested in running must file a Declaration of Intent and Oath of Candidacy with the County Elections Office. This office is located at 325 2nd Ave North, Great Falls. The filing date to do this is December 14, 2017 through March 29, 2018. Candidates must report campaign expenditures to the Montana Commissioner of Political Practices.

    Trustee Resolution Calling for an Election

    The Board approved the Resolution Calling for a School Election to be held on May 8, 2018, on February 12, 2018, at the Regular Meeting of the Board of Trustees.  The purpose of the election is to elect one (1) trustee for two-year term and one (1) trustee for three-year term.

    Trustee Resolution Setting Mill Levy Amount Elementary General Fund

    The Board approved the Resolution setting the mill levy amounts for the Elementary General Fund up to the maximum, which is estimated at $1,353,726.00, on February 22, 2018, at the Special Meeting of the Board of Trustees.  The maximum amount approved by the Office of Public Instruction as of March 1, 2018 is $1,349,047.67.
