Hello Sacajawea students and families, 

We are nearing the end of the first quarter of the 23-24 school year.  Time is flying by and everyone is learning so much.  I would like to thank each and every teacher, parent, and student for their work.  It truly takes everyone to engage our students in the powerful learning that is happening here each day.  Take time each day to talk to your students about the events that are going on in our school.  We have new and exciting adventures occurring every day at Sac.  Encourage all students to read every day, play hard, work hard, and have fun. 

We have new assessments coming this year to replace the Smarter Balanced testing from previous years.  This new assessment is called MAST.  This will consist of multiple testlet sessions throughout the year to assess the learning of students as they progress through the curriculum.  The first session window begins on October 23rd and will continue til November 15th.  

This is going to be a great year of learning.  Come join the adventure at Sacajawea and see how you can support your student reach the highest potential.
