“Promoting a caring community where growth is nurtured, excellence is demonstrated, and dignity and diversity are celebrated.”
Welcome to Lincoln Elementary.
School is back!!!!
We are so excited about seeing our Lion family. I hope you all had an exciting summer. School is right around the corner. We have some changes in the coming year.
I'd like to share my excitement about the upcoming school year. I am looking forward to a great year of learning, growing, and creating great humans for our community and our world. These are the future leaders of this community. Our lives revolve around our families, friends, and communities. Take time to enjoy each day with your child. Teachers are looking forward to sharing the time with you. We love our kids and want the best for them. Throughout the year, continue to ask your students what is going on in their classroom. We have some amazing teachers preparing lessons and activities that will change lives. My goal is that every student, teacher, staff, and administrator will leave this school every day with an encouraging word and anticipation for the next adventure tomorrow. Be active with your child. These are the years when we can make a difference each day. Smile at a neighbor, help a stranger, respect all people for who they are. What we see on the outside is not always what is going on inside. Remember to be kind and include all people.
We work very hard at keeping our children safe. Please check in at the office every time. Call ahead if you are planning on having lunch with your student, you will be required to get a visitor badge when you come into the building, staff members will be greeting you in the halls asking if you need anything. Update information throughout the year, ie. phone numbers, addresses, approved pickup and drop off adults. If students are not picked up at the end of the school day, they will wait in the office until the approved adult is contacted and arrangements are made to get picked up. HANDS applications are available for before and after school care at Lewis and Clark Elementary.
Cell Phones are not allowed on students during the school day. They may be placed in the student's backpack, teachers' desk, or office in silent or off mode until the end of the day. If students are using cell phones during the day, they will be given to the teacher or administrator until the end of the day. If repeated offenses follow, parents will be contacted to pick up the cell phone from the school administrator.
I look forward to an amazing year! Please reach out with questions and concerns.

Please take some time to thank a teacher, students, parents, and friends. Kindness is catching, so spread it around.
