  • Chief Jo invites students and staff to dress in Red, White and Blue tomorrow, September 10th in memory of all those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001.

This year is the 20th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. We remember the sorrow of that day but also the dedication, commitment and strength of those who responded to the tragic events.

    Dear Chief Joseph Families,

Welcome Back! I hope that your family has had a wonderful summer. Whether you are new to Chief Joseph or your family is returning, our staff is excited that you are a part of our community!

My name is Brian Miller and I am the new principal here at Chief Joseph. I am extremely excited for this opportunity and to join an incredible staff that carries a strong reputation for providing quality education, caring deeply for their students, and embracing a sincere love for family and community. Chief Joseph is a great school, and I am looking forward to serving in this new role.

If ever you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call. My office number is 268-6677. I look forward to meeting with you all and joining you in bringing up your kiddos into the young men and women we hope and know they can be.

This coming year, we – staff and parents alike - are incredibly fortunate for we have the opportunity to provide our kiddos with a strong foundation of care and support, of continuing their educational careers, and helping them along these foundational years of life. Together, we can work to ensure that your child SOARS to success and reaches his or her full potential. At Chief Joseph, we believe that we can do incredible things for every child when we work together, each doing his or her part.

As a school staff, we will continue to improve and work hard to be the best teachers we can be. We care about you and your child and believe that a positive relationship with schools, families, and students is critical to student success. Thank you in advance for all that you will do to support our efforts this school year.

I look forward to serving you, your kiddos, and the Chief Joseph staff!

    Brian Miller

Student of the Week

  • Congrats to our Student of the Week, Amya!

A note from Amya's Teacher: She always makes sure she is doing what she is supposed to. She is always making sure our classroom is picked up and looks better than when she found it. She is also always willing to help others. She is very kind to everyone.
