Congratulations to our Book Blast iPad winner: Piper O.

Congratulations to our 1st Treasure Box of cash and goodies winner: Paden W.

Congratulations to our 2nd Treasure Box of cash and goodies winner: Lincoln N.

Tomorrow  will be the drawing for the second of four Treasure Chests stuffed with cash and goodies. Make sure to get your ten invites done tonight so you can have a chance to win it.

Students will be bringing home a treasure map. Invite at least ten people by email or phone number to participate and donate in order to buy your child more books. The more people you invite, the more books your child and other students will get. If you invite ten people, your child will be eligible for some awesome prizes including an iPad and four treasure chests of money and other goodies.

If family and friends can donate at least $135 then your child will receive all ten books available. If more money is donated to your child, it will help other students to get more books as well! If you have more than one child registered, the $135 will be split between them. So, the more people you invite, the more books you get.

The iPad drawing will be on Wednesday, April 17th, so you need to have invited ten people by then for your child to be in that drawing. Thursday, Friday and the following Monday & Tuesday will be the drawings for the four treasure chests.

If you have more than one child at the school, you may enter them all together and each of them will get the prizes as well as be entered for the drawings.

If you have any questions, please contact Michelle Orr in the library through email, phone, in person or Remind messenger.

Principal's Message

  • It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to Lewis and Clark Elementary School, home of the brave Explorers! As a school community, we are committed to provide a safe and engaging learning environment to support all of our amazing students.

Lewis and Clark Explorers are a community of learners on a journey to success, today and into the future. As is evidenced by our mission statement, we are committed to providing students with the skills necessary to navigate their futures, no matter what they may be. We take great pride in the amazing opportunities that we offer all our students and we ask you to visit our school website often to stay informed of all the things that are happening within our school.

It is my belief that every child is unique and that they deserve to work and learn in an environment that supports them to reach their full potential academically, socially, behaviorally, and emotionally. Communication between home and school is an essential component of your child’s education. Look for ways to get involved such as volunteering, joining the school PTA, attending school events, reading with your child, attending parent-teacher conferences and having regular conversations with your child about their day at school.

As the principal of Lewis and Clark Elementary, it is my job to support students, parents, and staff. I have an open door policy and welcome the opportunity to talk with you about all of the amazing things that are happening in our school. You and your family are an important part of our school community and I look forward to partnering with you on your child’s educational journey!
