Current openings were posted on Thursday, May 12, 2016 and will close on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at 5:00 p.m. Check the on-line application system  Link To In-District Job Postings for a list of all current openings.  If you are interested in applying for these openings please hand-deliver your In-District Transfer Form to the Human Resources Office to meet the deadline.

PIR Registration Update: Cancellations and New Courses this Week

This week marks the end of the first round of PIR registrations. Registrations will continue throughout the week, but many sessions with low enrollment are in the process of being cancelled. If you have received an email from PIR eCentral, please log back into the system to register for sessions that has not been cancelled. If you are no longer planning on attending some PIR events that you have registered for, and have not been cancelled, please unregister to allow for space to open up.

Summer Swim Lesson Registration Begins at Great Falls High's Bison Pool

Summer swim lesson registration begins at Great Falls High's Bison Pool on Monday May 23rd and continues through June 8th. Lessons session begin on June 13th and runs through August 4th. Registration brochures are being distributed to the schools and through Wednesday envelopes on May 18th. Fall Print and Graphic Orders 2016-2017 School Year

All Fall orders need to be titled as "Fall" for the due date. That is for both the Print Center orders and Graphic orders.

Graphic orders for the 2016-2017 school year that must be created need to be submitted no later than June 30th. Any submissions beyond then may not be returned until approximately early October. Please try to prepare for the new school year early so we can get your orders done on time.

Fall Print orders CAN NOT be submitted electronically. With having such a high volume of orders for the fall, we do not want to risk any orders being lost in the system. If you have any questions or concerns please call 268-6051.


Recording 2016-2017 Absences Aesop

If you are looking to schedule Personal Business or pre-scheduled Sick Leave days for the 2016-17 school year, please note no absences will be accepted in Aesop until all benefit accruals have been mapped over for the 2016-17 school year. Aesop will be open on August 1, 2016 for all employees to enter in any pre-scheduled absences.

Any absences entered prior to that August 1, 2016 will not be accepted. If you have questions please contact Mindy Kiser in the HR Department 268-6010.


MSU-Northern Online Courses



Substitute Para timesheets are due by the 2nd of each month. Substitute Teachers should verify all assignments are correct in AESOP by the 2nd of each month.

Teacher Timecards and Class Coverage sheets are due in the Business Office the morning of Friday, May 13th. Reconciling should be done daily. Please verify all absences are reconciled by the 12th.

All other timecards are due in the Business Office the morning of Monday, May 23rd. Please e-mail any absences for the 23rd and 24th to BoPayrollLead [at] gfps [dot] k12 [dot] mt [dot] us. If you know in advance an employee is going to be gone, please have them mark it on their timecard rather than waiting to email.

All time cards are due on the above dates. Do not put them in the school mail any later, as it will be impossible to pay them on this pay period. All time cards must be signed by the employee before pay checks will be released.

All federal time cards are due to federal programs office two days before the dates listed above.

Secretaries, please review your time card check-off list and be sure all employees have turned in their time cards.


Any employee terminating their employment with the district must send their timecard to the business office immediately upon termination (DO NOT wait for the end of the pay period). If the employee will be terminating shortly after the end of the pay period those days can be added to the current time card.

Indian Education for All is currently seeking 20 GFPS teachers to embark on an all-expense paid 5-day 4-night excursion across the highline. Teachers will receive 12 PIR hours, while immersed in the Seven Essential Understandings of IEFA. Teachers will explore three different reservations—Fort Peck, Fort Belknap, and Rocky Boys and learn from tribal members—more exciting details to come! Desirable candidates are adventurous, enthusiastic and ready to have a blast.
