Connect Great Falls

 Party for Prosperity

Now that the turkey is cooked, the leftovers are stored, and the Christmas trees are on their way up, Connect Great Falls is ready to get festive.

Join us on Friday, December 11th at 7 p.m. at the Paris Gibson Square Museum of Art for a holiday party and fundraiser for our annual adopt-a-family event.

There will be free food, games, and a White Elephant auction filled with unusual prizes to benefit an amazing cause. And the dress code? Ugly sweaters.

Do your worst and help us do our best.

Last year, Connect Great Falls was able to help nine families in the community who would not have been able to enjoy a Christmas celebration otherwise. This year, we're working with RDI's Prosperity Club to make an even bigger impact.

Would you Like More Information on Applying for Great Falls Public Schools Foundation Grants?

Foundation staff will hold two workshops on December 8th and 10th both starting at 3:45 PM. On December 8th we will meet in room D2 (Choir Room) at East Middle School and on December 10th in room 301 at North Middle School. All District staff interested in applying for grant funding from the GFPS Foundation are encouraged to attend.

The two grants that will be discussed are the Dream Big and Discovery.

The application for the Dream Big grant is currently open and closes on January 15th. The Foundation is asking teachers and administrators to imagine a new program or project that could dramatically impact a large number of students. Following a competitive process, we’ll award up to $100,000 next spring to fund the best idea. Applications can found online HERE or through the Foundation’s webpage at

Discovery grant applications open December 14th and close on March 4th and the Foundation is encouraging innovative and creative projects. The program provides opportunities for students to learn in new environments, experience creative teaching methods, participate in out of school experiences, or have new equipment or materials that provide enrichment and support. Great Falls Public Schools employees can submit applications for funding ranging from $500 to $3,000. You can find the application HERE or through the Foundation’s webpage at [at] gfps [dot] k12 [dot] mt [dot] us

The workshops will present information on grant criteria, application process, and review process. If you have questions about these workshops please contact Dave Crum at dave_crum [at] gfps [dot] k12 [dot] mt [dot] us or call 7340 or Lyndsay Lettre at foundation [at] gfps [dot] k12 [dot] mt [dot] us or at 7401.
