The mission of the GFPS Employee Wellness Program is to nurture the health and well-being of our most important asset - the employees of the Great Falls Public Schools. 

Walking 4 Wellness Challenge 2014 

This challenge will have something for ALL fitness levels. 

Begins:  September 15th

Ends:  October 24th

CIGNA CLASSES! GET SMARTER!

MINDFUL EATING!
Controlling your food intake.  Leaning on food as a reward, boredom fighter or stress reliever could lead to unwanted weight gain.  This class explores ways to become a more mindful eater when your emotions try to control what, when and how much you eat. 
 
When:   November 7, 2014
 
Where:  Paris Gibson Education Center
                2400 Central Ave
 
Time:     1:30-2:30  and 3:00-4:00

Get your basketball on!  Are you interested in an early morning adult pick up game?  Paris is the place to be!  Please check in at the Fitness Center.  Basketballs are supplied.

ZUMBA CLASSES - No class at Longfellow on Tuesday, Oct 28th!  Instead, join Amber for ZUMBA at the Crosstown Run Around at PGEC at 4:00pm!

FREE to all employees!

Tuesday & Thursday:     4:30 - 5:30 pm     (No class held on holidays)

Classes held at Longfellow in the Gym (1100 6th Ave S)

WATER EXERCISE CLASS - Session 1 Begins September 17th.

Tuesday & Thursday:     7:00 - 8:00 pm

Classes are held at the Great Falls High Pool.

Class is FREE to all GFPS faculty and staff and open to the public at a cost of $60 for each session.  Session 1 runs September 17 - December.  Session 2 dates to be determined.

This is a great NO IMPACT, fun exercise class.  No particular swimming skills are required. 

GFPS faculty and staff need to register with Kim Fadrhonc at 268-6051.

SWIMMING -

Swimming at the Great Falls High Pool is FREE to all GFPS employees!  To get a pool pass, click here for the electronic application or contact Central Reception at 268-6054.  Attendance fee for a non-employee adult is $3 and a child is $2 per visit.

          Lap Swim:   Monday thru Friday     6:00 am - 7:30 am

          Family Open Swim:     Monday & Wednesday     7:30 pm - 8:45 pm
