Learning and teaching languages is my passion in life. I come from Russia, where as a child I began learning English and German. Later I was able to further my studies of those languages at the Linguistic University of Nizhny Novgorod.

With a Master’s degree in Linguistics, I entered the field of teaching and had the pleasure of teaching German here in Great Falls, MT. I have recently made a switch to teaching ESOL, which has exposed me to so many languages and cultures. I fully agree with P. Black who said that "ELL program is a service, not a place or a teacher." I am lucky to be one of many who provide this service to language learners.

This year I split my time between working with adult ESOL students and English Language Learners in Great Falls Public Schools K-12.
