Other Information:
The Long Term Goals of the Employee Wellness Program are:
- To create a culture of wellness and safety for all our employees, their families and our students.
- To create a culture that fosters happy and productive employees which in turn contributes to the well-being of their families and our community.
- To improve student achievement through their association with healthy employees.
- To create a program that is sustainable and to achieve 100% participation in the employee wellness program.
- To promote the belief among our employees that good health can get them a lot: our employees, as healthy individuals, will get to do the important things in their lives including doing their jobs well.
- To promote well-informed, highly engaged employees that are responsible consumers of their health benefit plans.
- To align employee incentives with the concepts of shared rewards, shared responsibilities, asset growth, and ownership of decisions in order to optimize our human capital performance.
- To coordinate the efforts of our health benefits plan, workers' compensation program, and wellness plan for prevention efforts.
- To contain rising costs, health benefits and workers' compensation.
- To initiate opportunities for lifestyle coaching and a medical self-care hotline.
