Pass Procedure for the Library Media Center

Study hall passes to check out a library book or magazine

Students may come to the library media center and get a pass before school, between classes and after school.

We do not write late passes for students to get to class.

Students will have 20 minutes to checkout a library book.

Students will return to study hall with their pass signed by the library media center staff.

Student pass to work on computers for classroom projects during class or study hall

Teachers issue these passes only, not the library media center staff.

Students must give their pass to the library staff, sign in to use a computer and log in as themselves when using the computers.

Students need to ask for permission before printing.

Printing fees for the library media center:
- .10 cents per page for printing in black
- .50 cents per page for printing in color
We do not allow students to charge printing fees.

Students will be dismissed 10 minutes before the bell to return to class or study hall with the pass signed by the library staff.
