EMS VISION

    At East Middle School each student prepares for the challenge of the 21st Century by focusing on effective 

    communication, critical thinking, and creative problem solving to become positive contributors to the

    global, technological society.

EMS MISSION STATEMENT

    We, a unified, committed educational community, will provide a safe and respectful environment where

    students are accountable and responsible for 21st Century learning.

EMS VALUES

    We, the community of East Middle School, believe in preparing students with the following 21st Century

EMS GOALS

1. To integrate 21st Century skills into the learning environment on a daily basis as measured by teachers' lesson plans, administrative walkabouts, random student work samples, and the Taglit survey.
2. To increase student attendance to 90% as measured by monthly attendance data on PowerSchool.
3.  To empower students to build positive relationships promoting a safe, respectful, educational environment with their peers, families, and the community-at-large as measured by our climate and culture survey.
