The
goal of this class is to speak French! We will use a program
called TPRS (see link above). This is an interactive approach to
language using physical cues, props, illustrations, storytelling,
acting and singing. In this class, we will also sample French
food, discuss French culture, and begin to learn a little bilt of
geography and history. The focus of our work together is PARTICAPATION! Come to class with an open mind and a positive attitude. The more you put in, the more you will get out! MATERIALS: You should always have paper, a pen, a pencil and all handouts/materials with you at every class meeting. I also suggest dedicating a section of your binder to French. HOMEWORK: All written homework is due at the beginning of the class period. Late work will be accepted for 1/2 credit. If you were absent, please check the homework hotline and the folder in the classroom. GRADING: We will use the standard (90/80/70) grading scale in this class.
