I am reading Into the Wild by John Krakauer about Chris McCandless.  Following graduation from college Chris gives every penny he has to charity and invents a new life for himself.  He is found months later, dead, in Alaska by a moose hunter.  It is intriguing that someone would just give everything away and try to live off the land.

I just started The Shack by William P. Young.  This was recommended to me by several people throughout the summer so I finally got it.

Diane Chamberlain is an author that I know lots for my friends read so I picked up her latest book The Secret Life of CeeCee Wilkes because it sounded good.  We'll see how I like it.  I just finished this novel and I loved it.  Diane Chamberlain writes in a manner that takes you there. You are sitting and angonizing with CeeCee as she makes her decisions and you grieve with her.  I can't wait to read another one of Chamberlain's novels.
