Student Services Advocate
The
student services advocate is here at East Middle School
to provide an opportunity for students to problem solve solutions to
inappropriate behaviors. Our school uses a school wide behavior system
to teach
students appropriate behavioral skills. Our expectation is that every
student
will demonstrate responsible and respectful behaviors in the classroom
and
school. In the event that students do not demonstrate the desired
behaviors,
they will be provided an opportunity to develop a specific behavioral
plan to
shape and change their behavior and decision making process. This will
be a non-punitive
process with the end goal being positive behaviors and decision making
from the
students.
