1. Health Insurance – Teachers may choose between the Big Sky Select point of service plan or a Catastrophic Plan. Both the District and the employee contribute to the premium amount.
2. Sick Leave – Teachers are credited with thirteen days of sick leave on the first contracted day of the school year.
3. Personal Business – Two days of personal leave absence each year, prorated for those working less than a full day or a full school year are available to each teacher. These may be accumlated to six over three years.

5. Retirement plan – Employee and District contribute to the Teachers’ Retirement System.
6. Life Insurance – Full-time teachers receive a $50,000 life insurance policy that is paid for by the district. The benefit is provided for you for the length of time you are employed with the Great Falls Public Schools as a teacher.
7. Long-term Disability Insurance – All full-time teachers are provided long-term disability by the district at no cost to the employee.
