Great Falls Public Schools is comprised of two traditional high schools, one alternative high school, two middle schools and 15 elementary schools.

DISTRICT GOALS

1. Attract, retain, and develop the highest quality teachers and administrators in the state by providing competitive, innovative compensation, excellent professional development and mentoring, and by creating a supportive and innovative educational culture.
2. Provide each student with differentiated instruction based on proven teaching methods and research, in addition to innovative programs developed by our own staff.
3. Explore/Implement Value-Added assessment, in addition to tools currently used, as part of a continuous effort to use student achievement data to support decision-making and improve instruction.
4. Ensure that all of the district’s facilities are functional, well-maintained, and equipped with cutting-edge technology to facilitate student learning and communication between schools, parents, and the community at large.
5. Conduct prudent financial stewardship of taxpayer funds while developing strategies to inform the legislature and community about our present and future funding needs.
6. Encourage a high level of continued parental and community involvement in our schools.
