Staff members are role models to the students of Great Falls Public Schools and there is important value in presenting a positive image to the students, parents and the public. Employees should maintain a well-groomed, clean, neat and business-like appearance at all times. Administrators should communicate professional dress expectations at the beginning of each year to staff members and reinforce those expectations throughout the year. This summer the Cascade City-County Health Department’s ongoing surveillance with the local health care community shows more patients with gastrointestinal symptoms including nausea, vomiting and diarrhea. These symptoms will usually begin suddenly and last about 1-2 days. Although there has been a recent increase in cases, there are steps you can take to stay healthy... Living Well @ GFPS Booklets are due September 15,2011 Please turn-in completed booklets to the HR Office at the DOB with your name and school written on the cover and signatures completed as indicated on pages 7, 9, 10. As noted on page 4 of the booklet, the incentive payments will be made in December. Driver Education Teachers Interested Teachers interested in being considered for teaching Driver Education during the Fall Session should submit Driver Education applications to the office of Special Services and Transportation, by Friday, September 2nd, 2011 by 5:00 PM. Classes will start Monday, September 19th, 2011 Driver Education teachers must have: 1. A valid Montana teaching certificate. 2. A minimum of 12 quarter hours preparation, including a basic traffic education course of three q.h. 3. A driving record free from repeated accident experience and traffic violations.4. A renewed approval from the Office of Public Instruction indicating eligibility to teach driver education. Employment is contingent on student enrollment. Applications will be considered in the order that they are received. The Fall Driver Education Meeting will be Thursday, September 15th, 2011, at 4:00 p.m. in the Board Room at the District Office Building.
